Entry forms can be downloaded from the RTTC and BC website's. Once you've done a few events list your times on the form, even if you didn't get a result, for first few events just fill in the event and personal details. Send it to the event organiser with a cheque. The details of the races are listed in the CTT handbook for time trials, you can order one here: http://www.rttc.org.uk/ you can view more early season events there as well.  You can get a CTT handbook from Geoff Smiths cycles as well.

The SPOCO website http://www.lakeslancsspoco.freeserve.co.uk/   has the event organiser details on there but you should get a handbook anyway, you'll need one in future.

Remember, a handbook gives you all the info on time trials, including SPOCO's but not road races.

If you want to have a go at some road races sign-up to BC http://www.britishcycling.org.uk and get yourself a racing licence, you'll start ou as a 4th cat. Oulton Park and Preston Arena are good races to try first on closed circuits,   The North West Road Race and Criterium League is a very good series as well: http://www.cdnw.org/
