Distance, speed and my average heart rate for past training rides, just for information.
These are group training sessions, for the benefit of your training partners before February please fit full length mudguards and good quality winter tyres fitted. To help everyone get the most out of them the group rides in a formation so everyone takes a turn, everyone gets a workout and the pace and headwind is shared.
Everyone's welcome but these rides are intentionally hard. If you get dropped before half-way you'd benefit more dropping down a group and building up rather than killing yourself just to hang on. Don't forget, the Sunday club-runs continue throughout winter at a more social pace - 9am at the Royal Oak (Bradshaw) and the STRAW rides will be organised via the message board.
Saturday 9.30am, finish around 12.30 at either Freddies or Rivvy Barn;
Sunday 9am, usually back at Freddies about 2pm. Both start from Bolton Arena. CHECK MESSAGE BOARD - Maybe combined with STRAW ride.
