We have a new Champion in the club Alexander Howarth won the N.L.T.T.A. girls 10 mile Championship in her first ever time trial with 27.45.at 16 years old. Congratulations Alex, well done.

These are from the Manchester 2-day, 3rd April, 90km, shortened to a one day race in the peaks due to Cheshire Police demanding their motorcycle outriders be used (organiser Ian Roberts was unable to pay for that at the last minute). James punctured on the first lap, lucky sod! Andrew wasn't having a good day so climbed of after half distance after blocking the chasers as Craig was up the road with Chris Belsham (York cycleworks).

Denbigh road race, 10th April, 104km, Jason, James, Craig & Andrew rode well in this one. A break went away toward the end of lap one and without an LRC jersey in there Craig jumped across and immediately attacked. Going clear with Andy Yates (MK Cycles) and Emmanuel Guitton (Wills Wheels) the trio stayed away for close on 50 miles only getting caught with one lap to go. The race all came together on the last lap and came down to a bunch sprint where Andy and Craig managed 7th & 8th.
