Rich Baker competing in an Ironman (more details needed Rich!)

The event was to promote the "National Big Lottery Day". All in all 13 sports were showcased as a "have a go" sessions. 6 LRC members were manning our area from 10 -2 pm. We had a good mix of athletes & general public to sample our sessions. Also we generated some new friends & the current regulars gave a very commendable demonstration from 12 - 1pm. Some of the activities were filmed for transmission on the 23rd. (I believe Alan Stubs made the BBC Lottery programme along with a shot of the limbo challenge on the Saturday night transmission). Here are a selection of photos from the day that show 2 visitors and current champions, Chris Hoy & Craig McLean. Praise must e given to their really friendly, approachable attitude to the children. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you very much.
A big thanks to all LRC coaches/volunteers that made the day happen, Ian Smith
