The descent in the distance is where Andy crashed.
At the top of the 15th climb of the day, after 20 miles.
Danny was so good at the old spanish lingo he let the rest of us do the ordering for practice
deep in the depths of the country ordering a coffee sometimes took a while
head down looking at the map is a good plan ;-)
road surfaces were A1 and some of the descents were mind blowing
'hundred-mile-stare' there was a lot of that ;-)
we climbed well beyond the snow line, didn't want to - just had no choice!!
Jason contemplates rugby tackling Paul, at least there'll be no more climbing!!
Jason's smiling because we've reached the top, for now.
a rare shot of everyone riding together
the evening entertainment was a bit hit and miss, both Chris and Andy did cracking meals though
the digs had the worst electrics ever, swapping lightbulbs around quickly got boring
Danny, just before the 'egg' incident and his introduction to kitchen "it doesn't work" towel
always test your bike before taking it abroad ;-)
a 10-speed cassette is the usual option with 10-speed shifters
Freezing cold, 5000ft high on top of a 20 mile climb, on the right Danny and Chris were cuddling up sharing body heat
a great trip!
